Laxer OS

Laxer OS is an Arch Linux based distribution of Linux from PAKISTAN پاکستان for work and everyday use. Laxer OS is available for any 64-bit computer, laptop. Laxer OS focuses on security, reliability, and performance, Laxer OS team is determined to provide you a platform to Get Things Done. 

Laxer OS is a versatile, and simple Linux distribution designed to fit the needs of competent and common Linux users. It is powerful, easy to manage and install, making it an ideal distribution for computers, laptops, and workstations. Laxer OS ship it with a Gnome desktop environment that is efficient, stable, easy to use, and very customizable. 

In December 2019 Manzoor Ahmed started the development of Laxer OS along with his polish friend Łukasz Nowacki and made its first release public in July 2020, This project is highly inspired by Manjaro linux and system76 Pop OS and uses Arch Linux as a base with its own set of apps, style and theme. 

Laxer OS can be installed on wide range of X86-64 system and work properly on Desktops, Laptops, 2 in 1 hybrid convertible laptops and Workstations. Initially we tried to bring support for arm and tables but It was ditched in 1.1 release.

Laxer OS is open-source and free software licensed under GPL & Opensource You can download, edit and build upon it without any restrictions. Anyone can join We are always open for all novice and advanced Linux users to join and start contributing to the project.
